The Department of Science & Humanities at RVS Technical Campus, Coimbatore, organized a grand Pongal Celebration to honor Tamil culture and traditions. Pongal, the harvest festival, symbolizes gratitude, prosperity, and togetherness, bringing students and faculty together to celebrate with enthusiasm and joy. The event commenced with a traditional Pongal preparation, where students and faculty gathered to cook Pongal in earthen pots, symbolizing prosperity and thanksgiving. The celebration was officially inaugurated by Dr.S.Vijayan/Principal, who highlighted the significance of Pongal in Tamil culture and agriculture. The Pongal Celebration was a grand success, bringing cultural awareness, fun, and joy to the students and faculty. The event strengthened the bond among participants while honoring Tamil traditions.
