M.E-CAD / CAM

Overview

M.E. CAD/CAM is a two-year postgraduate engineering program designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). CAD (Computer-Aided Design) enables engineers to create precise and efficient designs across various disciplines, including mechanical, civil, electrical, industrial, and product design, as well as architectural, interior, and landscape design. It is widely used in surveying, textile, plumbing, and electronic circuit design to enhance accuracy and productivity. CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) involves computer-based software tools that assist engineers and machinists in manufacturing and prototyping product components. It transforms CAD designs into real-world physical models using automated machining and production techniques. This program provides in-depth knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing processes, integrating computer and scientific principles to solve complex engineering problems. Graduates gain expertise in modern manufacturing technologies, enabling them to excel in industries such as automotive, aerospace, robotics, and industrial automation.
